Tiffany Haddish: The Funny and Fearless Tour

Buy Tickets Doors open at 6 p.m., show at 7 p.m. Emmy, Grammy, and NAACP Image Award winner Tiffany Haddish has established herself as one of the most sought-after comedic actresses and performers worldwide. She is a multifaceted artist who, in addition to acting, sings and dances. In June, Haddish teamed up with legendary songwriter Diane Warren to release her empowering new single, “Woman Up.” Prior to that, in May, she released her third book, a collection of essays entitled I Curse You with Joy. Haddish’s first book, a memoir called The Last Black Unicorn, was released in 2018 and made the New York Times Best Sellers List. The companion audiobook, narrated by Haddish, was nominated for a 2019 Grammy Award for “Spoken Word Album.” In 2022, she released her debut picture book Layla, The Last Black Unicorn. Haddish is perhaps best known for her breakout role as the scene-stealing “Dina” in the smash hit comedy Girls Trip. She will soon reprise her role in the highly anticipated sequel Girls Trip 2, opposite Jada Pinkett Smith, Queen Latifah, and Regina Hall. She will also star in Carlo Bernard’s upcoming action-thriller The Deputy, alongside William H. Macy, Duke Nicholson, and Julia Fox. Most recently, Haddish made a cameo in Bad Boys: Ride or Die, opposite Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, which made almost $400 million at the box office. She can also be seen starring as Detective Danner in Apple TV’s critically acclaimed murder mystery series The Afterparty in Disney’s Haunted Mansion MGM’s Landscape With Invisible Hand, an adaption of MT Anderson’s futuristic sci-fi novel and Back on the Strip. Prior to this, she starred in Lionsgate’s The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent opposite Nicholas Cage and Universal’s Easter Sunday. Haddish also voiced the role of Tuca in Adult Swim’s Tuca & Bertie and the role of Aisha in Hulu’s Solar Opposites. Other recent credits include: starring opposite Oscar Isaac in the critically acclaimed Paul Schrader film The Card Counter On the Count of Three, alongside Jerrod Carmichael and Netflix’s critically acclaimed Bad Trip, starring alongside Eric Andre and Lil Rel Howery. Haddish’s projects in development include Down Undercover, Mystery Girl, Homecoming Queen, and The Untitled Flo Jo Biopic. Haddish also served as host and executive producer of the Emmy-nominated Netflix stand-up comedy series Tiffany Haddish Presents: They Ready. The series of half-hour comedy specials featuring her friends and long-time comedic collaborators ran for two seasons. Her Emmy-nominated and Grammy-winning comedy special, Tiffany Haddish: Black Mitzvah, debuted on Netflix in December 2019. Haddish became the second black woman ever to win a Grammy for Outstanding Comedy Album and the first since Whoopi Goldberg won in 1986. Her first stand-up special, Tiffany Haddish: She Ready! From the Hood to Hollywood was released on Showtime in August 2017. Just three months after the special’s release, Haddish made history by becoming the first black female stand-up comedian to host Saturday Night Live, which earned her the 2018 Emmy Award for “Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series.” In June 2018, Haddish took the reins as the host of the MTV Movie and TV Awards, a role that earned her critical acclaim and significant ratings boost for MTV. Haddish’s journey and life experiences have inspired her comedy and sense of humor both on and off the stage. She has been very candid about her experiences growing up in foster care in South Central Los Angeles. Her excessive talking and imaginary friends prompted her flustered social worker to steer her into stand-up comedy. She enrolled in the Laugh Factory’s Comedy Camp, a place for at-risk and underprivileged children to transform negative energy into something positive. The experience was just the beginning of her comedy career. Haddish recently founded The She Ready Foundation to help and support foster kids in need. In 2021 The She Ready Foundation launched an Internship Program with Ready To Succeed for foster youth in the SoCal area. Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue: Shorty Gras Tour 2026

Buy Tickets Doors open at 6:30 p.m., show at 7:30 p.m. Born Troy Andrews, Trombone Shorty got his start (and nickname) earlier than most: at four, he made his first appearance at Jazz Fest performing with Bo Diddley at six, he was leading his own brass band and by his teenage years, he was hired by Lenny Kravitz to join the band he assembled for his Electric Church World Tour. Shorty’s proven he’s more than just a horn player, though. Catch a gig, open the pages of the New York Times or Vanity Fair, flip on any late-night or morning TV show and you’ll see an undeniable star with utterly magnetic charisma, a natural born showman who can command an audience with the best of them. Since 2010, he’s released five chart topping studio albums (his most recent being 2022’s Lifted) toured with everyone from Jeff Beck to the Red Hot Chili Peppers collaborated across genres with Pharrell, Bruno Mars, Mark Ronson, Foo Fighters, ZHU, Zac Brown, Normani, Ringo Starr, and countless more played Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Newport Folk, Newport Jazz, and nearly every other major festival performed four times at the GRAMMY Awards, six times at the White House, on dozens of TV shows, and at the star-studded Sesame Street Gala, where he was honored with his own Muppet launched the Trombone Shorty Foundation to support youth music education and received the prestigious Caldecott Honor for his first children’s book. Meanwhile in New Orleans, Shorty now leads his own Mardi Gras parade atop a giant float crafted in his likeness, hosts the annual Treme Threauxdown shows that have drawn guests including Usher, Nick Jonas, Dierks Bentley, Andra Day, and Leon Bridges to sit in with his band, and has taken over the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival’s hallowed final set, which has seen him closing out the internationally renowned gathering after performances by the likes of Neil Young, the Black Keys, and Kings of Leon. In addition to touring across the globe nearly year-round, Trombone Shorty has started a very special tradition: a cultural exchange trip to Cuba with his Trombone Shorty Foundation. The fourth trip of his kind will take place in January of 2025, and includes an ever-expanding group of special guests artists who join Shorty and his Foundation to host workshops and play concerts in Cuba over a 5-day period, as well as nearly 100 students. These exchange programs have previously been featured on NPR and CBS Mornings. Lifted, Trombone Shorty’s second release for Blue Note Records and 5th solo LP, was released in 2022. Recorded at Shorty’s own Buckjump Studio with producer Chris Seefried (Fitz and the Tantrums, Andra Day), the album finds the GRAMMY-nominated NOLA icon and his bandmates tapping into the raw power and exhilarating grooves of their legendary live show, channeling it all into a series of tight, explosive performances that blur the lines between funk, soul, R&B, and psychedelic rock. The writing is bold and self-assured, standing up to hard times and loss with grit and determination, and the playing is muscular to match, mixing pop gleam with hip-hop swagger and second line abandon. Wild as all that may sound, Lifted is still the work of a master craftsman, and the album’s nimble arrangements and judicious use of special guests—from Gary Clark Jr. and Lauren Daigle to the rhythm section from Shorty’s high school marching band—ultimately yields a collection that’s as refined as it is rapturous, one that balances technical virtuosity and emotional release in equal measure as it celebrates music’s primal power to bring us all together. Since the release of Lifted, Shorty and his band have made appearances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, TODAY and Good Morning America, and CBS Mornings. Shorty has also recently performed at the MusiCares pre-GRAMMY Awards gala, the Roots Picnic with Lil Wayne, on the instantly legendary NPR Tiny Desk featuring Juvenile, and at the White House’s 2024 Juneteenth concert. His recent 2024 summer tour featured special guest Big Boi and included a stop at the legendary Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
