The Chamber's 2026 Annual Meeting - presented by Indorama Ventures - is an opportunity to celebrate the past 12 months in our community while looking ahead to anticipate what's next for Decatur-Morgan County. Outgoing Chair Kelli Powers, President of Decatur Morgan Hospital, will pass the gavel to incoming Chair Cindy Smith, Financial Advisor at Edward Jones.  Also, the Chamber will present the Athelyne C. Banks Citizen of the Year Award sponsored by Redstone Federal Credit Union and the Rosie Hennessy Award to recognize our Commodore of the Year sponsored by Habitat ReStore.

The contributions of small businesses in Decatur - Morgan County will be recognized at the Chamber's annual Small Business Awards Celebration. The following awards will be presented: the Raymon Baker-John Cook-Ralph Jones Small Business Person of the Year, the  Lynn C. Fowler Non-Profit Professional of the Year and the Arthur Orr Young Professional of the Year. The 2025-2026 Excellence in Leadership graduates will be recognized as part of the program so those graduates do not need to register. Members who are celebrating milestone anniversaries will also be recognized.
