The Ambassador Program consists of enthusiastic Chamber volunteers who seek to grow professionally and personally by building business relationships within the community. If you have a desire to become more active in the local business environment, raise awareness about your business or organization, network, and give back to your community, this program is for you! The Emissary Program is designed to increase membership value and retention rates. Members who are offered the responsibility of being an Emissary (advocates for the Chamber to current members) have already shown a strong sense of commitment and dependability by being an outstanding Chamber member. They are then extended an invitation to become a part of this program.   Every year, our Ambassadors and Emissaries donate more than 9,000 hours to build strong Chamber member relationships and raise community awareness, and this Chamber is stronger because of them!

On February 7, put your paws in the air and join us for the 36th annual Dog Ball to support The Greater Huntsville Humane Society. You can have a paw-z-tively marvelous time greeting and petting Very Important Dogs – or as we call them, VIDs. Dinner, a live and silent auction, the Dog Ball Boutique and the presentation of the VIDs round out the fun. The Dog Ball, the largest annual fundraiser for the Greater Huntsville Humane Society, is an exciting and enjoyable event that benefits the Humane Society’s animal shelter by helping to defray expenses incurred while providing care to animals in need. The program will include the induction of our new Chamber leadership and a keynote address by Steve Lerch. We will also present the Distinguished Service Award, the Chamber’s highest individual honor. While at Google, Steve served as a digital strategy advisor to prominent brands like GoPro and Roku, respected nonprofits like the YMCA and Save the Children, and even major branches of the Federal Government, like the Census and FEMA.
