Our Summer Academy is five days of non-stop entertainment and learning that kids will love. This program includes all of the components that make up the great game of golf. From chipping, putting and full swing, to the rules and etiquette, kids will learn everything they need to know to improve their game. Each Academy is taught in a fun, relaxed atmosphere and is staffed with a low student-to-instructor ratio to ensure each Junior Golfer receives in-depth, hands-on attention while he or she develops a winning golf swing. ​DAILY MEALS Monday: Chicken bites & french fries Tuesday: Cheesburger & grapes Wednesday: Grilled cheese & fries Thursday: Mini-corn dogs & grapes Friday: Chicken bites & fries AGE LIMIT: This program is designed for children between the ages of 6-12 years old. ATTIRE: Please have your child dressed in comfortable apparel based on the weather conditions. Children should have appropriate footwear, such as tennis shoes (no golf spikes, please). In celebration of the role that Redstone Arsenal plays in the defense of our nation and the economic impact that it has on our region, the Chamber hosts a series of Armed Forces Celebration events in June. The Armed Forces Celebration Luncheon is the signature event of our celebration activities. Redstone is the home of the four-star Army Materiel Command and a dozen other Army Commands and Offices, as well as offices for the Missile Defense Agency and the Defense Intelligence Agency. Over 45,000 people work on Redstone and more than $50 Billion in federal budgets are managed on the base. Redstone Arsenal and the combined federal sector accounts for over half of the local economy. Mo'Bay is built on a mama's special beignet recipe for her family, and her tradition of using her special syrups to "add a little love to them."  And Mo'Bay Beignet Co. has a sibling! Bay Town Burger Co. was created in honor of the owner's baseball- and cheeseburger-loving sons. The first location launched in the Fall 2021 in West Mobile where her boys have grown up playing America's favorite past time. The Ambassador Program consists of enthusiastic Chamber volunteers who seek to grow professionally and personally by building business relationships within the community. If you have a desire to become more active in the local business environment, raise awareness about your business or organization, network, and give back to your community, this program is for you! The Emissary Program is designed to increase membership value and retention rates. Members who are offered the responsibility of being an Emissary (advocates for the Chamber to current members) have already shown a strong sense of commitment and dependability by being an outstanding Chamber member. They are then extended an invitation to become a part of this program.   Every year, our Ambassadors and Emissaries donate more than 9,000 hours to build strong Chamber member relationships and raise community awareness, and this Chamber is stronger because of them!

The Armed Forces Celebration is all about nurturing the relationships between the people who lead and work on Redstone Arsenal and the people who lead and work in the surrounding communities. What better way to accomplish this goal than by engaging in a little fun together? This Community Softball Game brings together local elected leaders and Redstone leadership for a game at Toyota Field, home of the Trash Pandas. Admission to the game is free, and there’s beer and ballgame food for purchase. Recent games brought over 1,000 people to the stadium, and we expect far more in the future. Whether you cheer for the Redstone Arsenal team or our local Community Leaders, this will be a great game! Together, we are all TEAM REDSTONE! Admission and parking are FREE, so bring your entire family! The gates open at 5:30 p.m., and concessions will be available for purchase. 🌭 FREE Hot Dogs to the first 500 attendees! 🌭 We'll also give the Grand Slam Spirit Award to the company/organization that brings the most people to the game. Put this on your company calendars, round up your employees, and come have a fun night at the ballpark watching Team Redstone take on the North Alabama Rockets! The 2nd annual VIP Charity Golf Tournament will use proceeds in support of providing much needed emergency shelter for Veterans. The format of the event will be a four (4) Person scramble format with awards being given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. There will be a "Shot-Gun" start at 0830 a.m. Registration (with breakfast) starts at 0730 a.m. Lunch will be served immediately following the event during the awards ceremony. If registering a full four (4) person team, please include all partner's names and shirt sizes in the "Add Special Instructions" section. The Chamber will host an appreciation event for Gold Star Families* at the Wicks Family Field at Joe Davis Stadium during the Huntsville City Football Club game on June 6. We thank the Presenting Sponsor, ASRC Federal, for their support of this event as we honor these families.  This will also be a military appreciation night at the HCFC game, with military hardware on display and hopefully, a flyover featuring military aircraft.  This event for Gold Star Families is by invitation only, and Redstone Arsenal has worked to invite families. This is one of several events we are hosting during the 2025 Armed Forces Celebration.
