Hosted by the Alabama Wildlife Center at Oak Mountain State Park, the festival brings together naturalists, educators, artists, and outdoor enthusiasts for a weekend of hands-on workshops, guided hikes, wildlife encounters, and community connection. With over 20 courses to choose fromâcovering topics like birding, native plants, fly fishing, reptile care, nature journaling, and traditional craftsâparticipants will create their own schedule of immersive, expert-led sessions. Morning and afternoon blocks, evening keynote speakers, and optional camping make this a rich, customizable experience for nature lovers of all ages and skill levels.
