The Globe-Miami area of Arizona is rich in mining history and continues to be a major source of copper, gold, silver and other mineralogical treasures such as turquoise, azurite, chrysocolla and many other rocks and minerals. Today the society is very active with dozens of members from all over Central Arizona, from the west cost to the Midwest, and as far away as Canada. The first Thursday of each month is our business meeting, which starts at 6:30 pm. to discuss business with our club and community; we also decide where our next rock hunt will be. Therapy dogs Kai, Bindi and Sarah offer their calm, gentle and loving nature to provide comfort and support when the  canine compassion grief support meets at Living Waters Church at 125 East Haskins Road.  This group continues meeting on the first Thursday of the month, and starting at 5:00 p.m. for anyone dealing with loss to find comfort with the emotional healing of gentle and loving dogs, compassionate animals helping let us know we’re not alone. Today the society is very active with dozens of members from all over Central Arizona, from the west cost to the Midwest, and as far away as Canada. The first Thursday of each month is our business meeting, which starts at 6:30 pm. to discuss business with our club and community; we also decide where our next rock hunt will be. These healthy first-Saturday-each-month deliveries are arranged and even loaded into waiting vehicles -- for drive-through service  Exact contents to be delivered today remain unknown until the Friday prior to Saturday’s delivery. Pre-orders are limited to 50 boxes. Boxes will be distributed in the Tractor Supply parking lot for one hour from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. with drive-through service, Gila County staff and volunteers  will even carry and load your crate of produce into your vehicle - -just have your paper or digital Square Prepay receipt ready to show for documentation and your proof of purchase.
