Join us for a storytime in the Children's Peace Garden with local children's author Cynthia Harmony in honor of Día de Muertos. Cynthia will read her book A Flicker of Hope. There will be refreshments, fun activities, and more! The storytime will be in English, and there will be a story walk in the garden with copies of the Spanish translation of the book. If this is your first time visiting the Children's Peace Garden, you are in for a treat as it is a beautiful space. It is located in the northwest part of the Manuel Herrera Jr. Park. One way to access the garden is by turning south on Liberty Ave. from Drexel Rd. Then you can turn on to Calle Alvord. You can also turn onto Calle Francita from Liberty Ave. and then onto Fiesta Ave. There is usually parking by the basketball courts near Liberty Ave. and Calle Alvord. We hope to see you there!
