Babies love stories and songs! The stories we read at Babytime are short and engaging, and the babies enjoy moving with the music. Share time with your baby in a fun, confidence-building environment. Babytime storytime is approximately 30 minutes or less; it's designed for babies up to 18 months of age. Siblings are welcome! There will be a short stay and play after storytime - make friends and have more fun! We recommend parking in the garage underneath the Main Library. The entrance is on the south side of Alameda Street, just west of Stone Avenue. If you are taking the bus, disembark at the Ronstadt Center and walk west on Pennington Street until you reach the library.

Bring your child and enjoy stories, songs, and activities that promote early literacy and healthy development.  Geared towards children aged 2-5 years and their parents/caregivers. Each Storytime is 20-30 minutes long. Storytime is every Tuesday starting at 10:15 a.m. Park in the Main Library Parking Garage at 45 W. Alameda St. The first hour is free. We'll give you a second ticket at the end of Storytime for a total of two hours free, enough to enjoy the program and select books afterward.

Tween Crafternoon

Join us for a mid-week hang out and get creative at the library!  We'll have a new craft or game each week, and an art cart for your own projects. Come and go as you please, any time between 3:30 and 5:00.  A small snack will be provided.

VoteRiders is an organization that tables at several libraries around town that helps people obtain a driver’s license or State ID for free. Do you need ID? We help people get the ID they need to cast a ballot that counts. We pay for ID/Drivers License, Birth Certificate, and or Social Security Card. We provide transportation to government offices to complete the process (in areas where rideshare is available). We also provide a mailing address if you do not currently have a place to receive mail. Services available to US citizens 16 or older and those impacted by the criminal justice system.
