We have knitting needles, crochet needles and yarn to share.  Bring a project that you're working on, or start a new one with our lovely volunteer leader, Ann. All skill levels are welcome. Share tips and connect with fellow crafters. Crafting promotes relaxation and mental well-being. Come create and unwind in a supportive community.

Curso de GED Prep en español -- Esta clase ayudará a los participantes a mejorar sus habilidades de lectura, escritura, matemáticas y pensamiento crítico, todas ellas necesarias para incrementar sus posibilidades de éxito en sus examenes GED. La clase se impartirá completamente en español. La instrucción puede incluir tareas, conferencias tradicionales y práctica interactiva. Los participantes deben ser mayores de 16 años. GED Prep Class in Spanish -- This class will help participants improve their reading, writing, math, and critical thinking skills, all of which are necessary to increase their chances of success on their GED exams. Las clases se impartirán totalmente en español para que el estudiante pueda adquirir estas habilidades en su idioma. Los días miércoles de 10 a 11:30 am, desde el 1 de octubre hasta el 19 de noviembre de 2025, en la biblioteca Quincie Douglas. Computer Basics en espanol -- This class will teach entry-level computer skills. Participants will learn how to open a web browser, navigate internet searches, access and use email, basic computer safety, and more! On the 1st Wednesday of every month, we're hosting a representative from Pima County's Community and Workforce Development office. He can help you with: acquiring a cell phone  food resources  pet supply resources  eviction prevention  utility assistance  emergency housing (completing the VI-SPDAT)  He can also connect you to: legal services  veterans resources  employment resources  Drop in anytime during 2pm and 4pm. Tucson has a telephone service to assist homeless people. The homeless resource line, (520) 791-2540, can put people in touch with shelter, food, and medical care immediately.
