The Bookbike gives out free books, library cards, and information about library and literacy programs, as well as bike maps and information about bicycling events. Visit the Bookbike at the Tucson House,1501 N. Oracle Road on the 2nd Tuesday of every month.

Join the Cooper Center for Environmental Learning Staff in a fun desert storytime!  The pages of Jenniffer Ward's The Seed and the Giant Saguaro will come to life as we "meet" several desert animals who all play a role in helping a small seed grow into a giant saguaro! There will be desert puppets, props, and maybe some rain to keep you engaged and connected to this magical place we call home.  Age ranges 2-5 years old.  ¡Asiste y participa en una divertida hora de cuentos del desierto presentado por el personal del Centro Cooper para el Aprendizaje Ambiental! Las páginas de La semilla y el saguaro gigante de Jenniffer Ward cobrarán vida cuando "conozcamos" a varios animales del desierto que desempeñan un papel en ayudar a que una pequeña semilla se convierta en un saguaro gigante. Habrá marionetas del desierto y tal vez algo de lluvia para mantenerte involucrado y conectado con este lugar mágico que llamamos hogar. Ideal para niños de 2 a 5 años.
