April 3rd Ride Type: Mountain Bike (beginner & intermediate friendly) Weekend Warm Up is a weekly ride hosted by OZ Cycling Tours, designed to bring together Chamber members and community partners. The event offers a chance to enjoy mountain biking, gravel rides, and greenway paths in a relaxed, no-drop environment.    Rides occur every Friday at 4:00 PM, with different types of rides each week. Participants meet at Phat Tire (125 W Central Ave.) in Bentonville, and the rides are open to a variety of skill levels. It’s a great way to kick off the weekend, connect with others, and get outside while staying active. On the first Friday of every month, the ride will be a beginner/intermediate-friendly mountain bike ride near the Bentonville Square, giving riders the opportunity to get in a few fun laps before heading into the First Friday celebration downtown. By signing up, you’ll receive weather and cancellation updates, details about ride types (mountain, gravel, or greenway), and important reminders. Rest assured, we won’t spam your inbox—only the most relevant updates to keep you in the loop. Key Ride Details:  Occurs every Friday Spring-Fall at 4pm, meeting at Phat Tire (125 W Central Ave.) Rides rotate weekly between mountain, gravel, and greenway rides. The Chamber will post updates on social media and send email notifications if there's a terrain change or cancellation due to weather. All rides are "no-drop," meaning no one will be left behind! The pace of the ride will be determined by the group. If needed, we'll split into two groups to ensure everyone's comfort level.  E-bikes are welcome! Participants should bring water, nutrition, and a flat kit for a 2-hour ride. Typical distances: 10-25 for mountain bike rides, 20-25 for gravel rides. The mountain bike ride will be a cross-country style through Slaughter Pen (not enduro/jump line).

The Bentonville Half Marathon is celebrating its 16th year and invites runners to experience a premier 13.1-mile course through the Historic Downtown Square and the scenic grounds of Crystal Bridges. It is a true showcase of our vibrant running community, bringing together local athletes and visitors for a high-energy journey through the heart of the Ozarks. A 5K will be held at this event in addition to the half marathon. The 5K will feature Downtown and the heart of Bentonville.

Celebrate International Beaver Day at Osage Park with a community fundraiser supporting the park’s wetlands and resident beavers. The goal is to raise $5,000 in one day through donations, activities, and special programs. Visit the pavilion from 11 AM–2 PM for hands-on activities, an interactive donation thermometer, community partners like the Arkansas Beaver Committee and Northwest Arkansas Master Naturalists, and a special “Beaver Tracks” ice cream flavor from Oh, Snap! Ice Cream. Optional programs include a Kids Nature Class (ages 6–12) from 9–11 AM and an all-ages Nocturnal Beaver Tour from 6–7:30 PM. Volunteer opportunities are also available to help clean up the wetlands and remove invasive species.
