The UAFS Center for Nonprofits (CNP) is a regional hub dedicated to strengthening nonprofit organizations across the River Valley. As part of the UAFS Center for Economic Development, they connect community partners with university expertise to help nonprofits expand their impact, build sustainable organizations, and develop future leaders.  The UAFS Center for Nonprofit hosts the Crawford County Nonprofit Connection each month at the Van Buren Chamber of Commerce. This monthly drop-in event provides an opportunity for local nonprofit leaders, staff, and volunteers to connect with UAFS representatives, access resources, and share information that strengthens community impact. Sessions take place on the first Thursday of each month from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the UAFS office inside the Chamber.  You may set up a one on one consultation with the Director, Emily Treadaway at 479-424-5144 or [email protected]

The Van Buren Chamber is excited to announce the official launch of The Yeager Family Entrepreneurial Support Organization!! As part of this launch, the Chamber is hosting the Business Builder Expo for entrepreneurs and small business owners to learn about the business resources available in our community.  There is no charge to attend and everyone is welcome.  Chamber members are invited to register as exhibitors at no charge.  Exhibitors will be provided with one 6 foot table and two chairs.  About The Yeager Family Entrepreneurial Support Organization: The Van Buren Chamber is excited to announce the launch of The Yeager Family Entrepreneurial Support Organization (ESO), to help support small businesses and startups at every stage! The ESO was designed, in partnership with the Yeager family, for people with great business ideas but don’t know where to start—or where to go next. Over the past few years, we have been building a resource ecosystem—one that brings mentors, service providers, education, and support together in a coordinated way. This initiative exists to remove barriers, connect resources, and create a clear pathway for small businesses and entrepreneurs to grow and thrive.
