The UAFS Center for Nonprofits (CNP) is a regional hub dedicated to strengthening nonprofit organizations across the River Valley. As part of the UAFS Center for Economic Development, they connect community partners with university expertise to help nonprofits expand their impact, build sustainable organizations, and develop future leaders.  This monthly drop-in provides an opportunity for local nonprofit leaders, staff, and volunteers to connect with UAFS representatives, access resources, and share information that strengthens community impact.   Our Blood Institute is hosting a donor campaign, inviting the community to step and donate for patients in local hospitals. All donors who donate will receive a limited-edition Route 66 T-Shirt...   Blood is needed every day, but donations often slow down during late winter and early spring. By rolling up a sleeve, donors help keep hospitals from falling behind when patient needs are at their highest.   Anyone who is healthy and 16 years old* or older can give blood. Donation typically takes only about an hour, and one donation saves up to three lives. Appointments to donate can be made online at obi.org or by calling 877-340-8777. Walk-ins are also welcome.    *16-year-olds must weigh at least 125 pounds and provide signed parental permission; 17-year-olds must weigh at least 125 pounds; 18+ year olds must weigh at least 110 pounds. Photo ID required.    ### Our Blood Institute is the sixth-largest independent blood center in the nation, with 17 donor centers in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas. OBI is the nonprofit blood provider for patients at more than 240 hospitals, medical facilities and air ambulances across all three states.

This exhibition, In Full Color, showcases works by members of the Ozark Pastel Society (OPS) and Arkansas Pastel Society (APS), featuring work by artists ranging from those new to the pastel medium to those who have earned the highest honors from the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS) and the Pastel Society of America. Each artist brings a unique perspective and passion for their chosen subjects, resulting in a rich and engaging collection of landscapes, portraits, still life, wildlife, abstracts, and pet portraits. The exhibition will also feature informational panels exploring the history of pastels, the medium itself, and the diverse approaches artists use in creating pastel paintings.
