Join us as we read a selection of picture book stories, sing songs, and engage in movement activities for children ages 0-5 years old. Each storytime lasts approximately 20-30 minutes. After storytime we offer a 30-minute stay-and-play session that allows children and caregivers to meet and interact with our collection of building toys and early literacy activities. For special accommodations, please contact the library with 72 hours notice.

Hey Teens! Got something to say? Want to write poetry, drop bars, make music, or just get creative with others who understand where you’re coming from? Youth Arts Connection is your space to do all that and more. These free workshops at the Antioch Library are led by local artists with powerful voices in poetry, music, and community from Contra Costa County. If you’re between the ages of 12 and 18, join us for creative sessions focused on self-expression, connection, and building real-life skills that will support you in school, your future, and beyond. ----- Art classes funded by Measure X.

Contra Costa County Health Services in partnership with Contra Costa County Library System are here to support library staff and patrons alike. Currently the Library Wellness Team consists of a Community Support Worker and Mental Health Clinician. They assist individuals in various areas that library staff may not be able to. They offer education about Contra Costa County’s mental health and community support services. They do this through lived experience, education and a passion to help and serve our communities to enhance wellness. They offer a supportive ear and bring a new addition to the library system via connections and partnerships. You can find the Library Wellness Team at these Libraries in Contra Costa County: Concord Library | Mon-Tues | 10am-4pm San Pablo Library | Wed-Thurs | 10am-4pm Antioch Library | Friday | 10am-4pm
