Over the duration of the course, students will: · How to create an account with various AI platforms · Understand the underlying technology powering conversational AI · Learn techniques for properly prompting ChatGPT, Bard and Claude to get optimal responses · Evaluate the strengths and limitations of these tools · Explore current and future applications of conversational AI Through lectures, demonstrations and hands-on activities, students will develop core competencies in conversing with AI systems and leveraging them for a variety of purposes, including general learning, practical tasks, document/image creation and more. Class will encourage group discussions to enable an exchange of techniques and experiences. By the end of the course, students will have access to all the AI platforms and acquire specialized skills in prompting conversational AI agents and applying their capabilities to solve problems and enhance productivity. Whether you want to utilize these technologies professionally or just explore their possibilities, this course will provide a solid foundation in the current state of AI assistants and where they are headed. Please note: If you are planning on creating an account for any of the tools we will be using in the class, you will need to have access to your email, so please ensure you have your email passwords ready for verification. Additionally, you may need to verify your account through a text message, so please ensure you have your cell phone available during the class. If you would like to use your own computer or phone/tablet, you will need to have access to your passwords and email accounts, including Google and Apple (if you are planning to download the app on your phone or tablet).

Summer may be winding down, but that doesn’t mean the party has to stop yet! Join us at Holbrook Palmer Park for an afternoon filled with storytime, crafts, and more outdoor fun and games, all themed around our favorite neighbors from Sesame Street! We’re on our way this beautiful sunny day, where the air is sweet—do you know the way to Sesame Street? Our party will be located just outside of Holbrook Palmer's Jennings Pavilion. Storytime will start at 3:45 PM, followed by a Bubble Show at 4:30 PM!  Stick around afterwards for the Town of Atherton's Sounds of Summer concert from 6-8 PM, featuring a performance by Mercy and the Heartbeats, with food from Respectable Bird available.

Looking for a fun and healthy way to connect with others? Join the Atherton Library's Walking Club and explore the scenic beauty of Holbrook Palmer Park while enjoying the fresh air and good company. Walking regularly offers numerous health benefits, including improved cardiovascular health, stronger bones, better balance, enhanced mood, and increased energy levels. This group is a great way to stay active, meet new friends, and discover the joy of walking together. Routes within the park are accessible and paced to accommodate all fitness levels. Comfortable shoes and a sense of adventure are all you need to participate! Special Walks – Every Third Friday! We’re excited to introduceSpecial Walks on the third Friday of every month! Chen-style Taijiquan (Tai Chi) is widely acknowledged as the ancestor of all other styles of Taijiquan. This class will introduce the Chen-style Taijiquan form, Silk-reeling Exercises and Wuji Qigong. The Chen-style Taijiquan form is soft and graceful with strong rooted stands that will help students to develop strength, balance, coordination and an understanding of basic Taiji principles. Silk-reeling Exercises are a series of spiral movements which promote muscle relaxation and flexibility by reducing physical tension and strain. Wuji Qigong (standing meditation) will help students to cultivate internal energy (qi) with proper body alignment for better internal energy flow, which will enhance their immune systems and reduce physical and mental stress. Registration is encouraged but not required.
