Special Walk Join us for a special walk at Bedwell Bayfront Park, just an 11-minute drive from the Atherton Library. Enjoy sweeping views of the Bay, explore the park’s unique wetlands and wildlife, and take a refreshing stroll through this coastal treasure.    Approximately 2 miles | Flat terrain, great for all levels. All are welcome! Don’t miss this chance to explore Bedwell Bayfront Park with us. No registration required. This group is a great way to stay active, meet new friends, and discover the joy of walking together. Routes within the park are accessible and paced to accommodate all fitness levels. Comfortable shoes and a sense of adventure are all you need to participate! The walking club will meet near the main parking lot at 1600 Marsh Rd. Let’s step into wellness together! Chen-style Taijiquan (Tai Chi) is widely acknowledged as the ancestor of all other styles of Taijiquan. This class will introduce the Chen-style Taijiquan form, Silk-reeling Exercises and Wuji Qigong. The Chen-style Taijiquan form is soft and graceful with strong rooted stands that will help students to develop strength, balance, coordination and an understanding of basic Taiji principles. Silk-reeling Exercises are a series of spiral movements which promote muscle relaxation and flexibility by reducing physical tension and strain. Wuji Qigong (standing meditation) will help students to cultivate internal energy (qi) with proper body alignment for better internal energy flow, which will enhance their immune systems and reduce physical and mental stress. Registration is encouraged but not required.
