Jen de Oliveira, author of Reggie: Kid Penguin, will guide patrons through crafting their comic book character. Jen de Oliveira is a writer, cartoonist, and elementary school teacher from California. She is also the co-creator of Sunday Haha, a free weekly comics newsletter for kids. Jen started her webcomic Reggie in 2018, and in 2023 her debut graphic novel, REGGIE: KID PENGUIN, was published. This program is best for ages 5 and up. Each Wednesday we will offer arts and crafts, or a spectacular performance, or a special guest! On the fifth Wednesday of a month there will be a special take home activity packet. Call us at 925-673-0659 for further details.
