In honor of Homelessness Awareness Month, the Concord Library is hosting the 3rd Annual Unhoused Resource Fair. If you are unhoused, at risk, a shelter resident, or if you know someone who is experiencing homelessness or if you are in need of assistance or just curious to learn more about the available resources and services in Contra Costa County please join us at this Unhoused Resource Fair at the Concord Library. Everyone is welcome!  Partners for this event are the Contra Costa County Library, Contra Costa Health, CORE Homeless Outreach, City of Concord, Caminar, White Pony Express, & NAMI. There will be 25+ local organizations on site that focus on unhoused resources ready to talk about how they can help. We hope to provide resources in the areas of health/medical, food, clothing, housing, crisis, mental health, legal aid, pet care, shelter information, and more. This is a pet friendly event, so anyone that is unhoused or staying at a shelter can bring their pets. Free refreshments, snacks, and giveaways for all attendees. Join us for BYOC, or BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR, Movie Night at the Concord Library. Bring a camping chair, or a bean bag, or a blanket, or a pillow, or whatever you'd like to sit on during the show! We will be watching the 1993 cult classic Addams Family Values (PG-13) and will be providing popcorn. You are welcome to bring your own snacks and beverages (with a lid). Registration not required. They're back! In this sequel to last month's BYOC pick, Pugsley and Wednesday Addams aren't happy with the new addition to the family: their new baby brother Pubert. Gomez hires nanny Debbie: a seemingly innocent woman with an impeccable wardrobe and a way with her hands. She charms the family, especially Uncle Fester. But Wednesday and Pugsley see through her façade: she's only after Fester's money. Before they can rat on her, she ships them off to summer camp. Pugsley and Wednesday must battle ever-cheery camp directors and spoiled rich kids to get back to their family and warn them about Debbie.
