Contra Costa County Health Services in partnership with Contra Costa County Library System are here to support library staff and patrons alike. Currently the Library Wellness Team consists of a Community Support Worker and Mental Health Clinician. They assist individuals in various areas that library staff may not be able to. They offer education about Contra Costa County鈥檚 mental health and community support services. They do this through lived experience, education and a passion to help and serve our communities to enhance wellness. They offer a supportive ear and bring a new addition to the library system via connections and partnerships.  You can find the Library Wellness Team at these Libraries in Contra Costa County: Concord Library | Mon-Tues | 10am-4pm San Pablo Library | Wed-Thurs | 10am-4pm Antioch Library | Friday | 9am-4pm

The group will take place online every Tuesday, 6-7pm. Join us for BYOC, or BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR, Movie Night at the Concord Library. Bring a camping chair, or a bean bag, or a blanket, or a pillow, or whatever you'd like to sit on during the show! We will be watching the 1993 family film The Sandlot (PG) and will be providing popcorn. You are welcome to bring your own snacks and beverages (with a lid). Registration not required. A young boy moves to a new neighborhood where he is taken in by a group of local baseball players. The new gang of friends find themselves caught in many adventures, including getting a prized ball back from the menacing neighborhood dog. For accommodations, please call the library with 72 hours' notice. Programming is made possible thanks to support from the Concord Friends of the Library.

Self-Service Sundays Program at the Concord Library: What is Self-Service Sundays? Find more information here.  To qualify for Self-Service Sundays you must: Be 18 Years or Older  Have a Contra Costa County Library Card in Good Standing Attend a 30 minute in-person presentation at the Concord Library Please include your library card number in the registration form and make sure to bring your library card with you to the orientation.  Registration is required.
