IS students are welcome to come and stay the full school day.Please have students arrive in costume for a costume parade. Costumes should be handmade, recycled, borrowed, or thrifted if possible. No weapons, blood, gore, or anything likely to scare a 3-year-old.School starts at 8:15 or 8:30 as usual. Kids go to class to take attendance, drop off backpacks, and change into costumes if needed. Due a staffing issue, the Davenport Bookmobile is TEMPORARILY on hold. The service will resume once staff is available again. We will update the school calendar when we are notified that bookmobile visits will be happening.The Santa Cruz Library Bookmobile will be parked in front of the school from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. every other Monday (with some schedule changes around holidays). Eric, the librarian, can help you get a library card. You can also order books to be delivered or you can walk up and ask for a personal request. Please take advantage of this opportunity to support literacy in your students and yourself!
