THE FORGE is a monthly, small-group roundtable for business professionals hosted by the Dublin Chamber of Commerce. This is not a lecture, not a sales pitch, and not another networking event where nothing gets solved?it?s focused, practical, and built around the real issues you?re facing. When & How It Works Schedule When: First Tuesday of every month Time: 9:00 ? 10:00 AM Format: One hour, in-person roundtable Cost & Capacity Members: $60 per person, renewing every 12 months Non-Members: $25 per session Capacity: Limited to 20 participants per session, with priority for Chamber members Session Structure: What to Expect   Kickoff Theme Every session starts with a focused theme to frame the conversation. Bring One Challenge Each participant brings one real issue, decision, or obstacle from their business. Clarifying Questions (No Advice Yet) The group asks questions to really understand the challenge before jumping to solutions. Peer Insights & Shared Experience Members then offer feedback, ideas, and lessons learned from their own businesses?guided by a moderator who keeps the conversation focused and respectful. The Economic Development Committee convenes Dublin business leaders who are interested in the economic viability of Dublin and the greater Tri-Valley area.  The committee leads the Chamber's advocacy efforts on local public policy priorities. January 2026 Meeting. Matthew Insco, Bureau of Labor Statistics Matthew will present "Paving the Way: Leveraging Labor Market Insights for Strategic Planning." this is an overview of the latest Employment Projections, including changing labor force demographics, the fastest growing and declining occupations, and projected occupational openings.  The presentation will include an overview of current economic trands, including national and local area employment, labor costs, and inflations measures.   The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), an agency within the U.S. Department of Labor, measures labor market activity, working conditions, price changes, and productivity in the U.S. economy to support public and private decision making. Matt Insco is the Branch Chief of the BLS West Region Information Office. He leads a team responsible for disseminating BLS data through press releases, analytical articles, and the BLS website. The office conducts outreach on behalf of BLS and supports data users by helping them access, understand, and interpret BLS statistics. Matt is a graduate of the University of California, Riverside, and has worked at BLS for over 25 years.
