Drop-In Gem Painting at the Library Join us for a creative and relaxing gem painting session at the library! Whether you're a seasoned artist or just looking to try something new, this event is perfect for everyone. A variety of materials will be available.  You can: Freestyle Gem Painting: Let your imagination run wild and create unique designs. DIY Designs: Work on small, printed DIY projects and bring your ideas to life. Project Assistance: Get help with finishing any ongoing projects. Canvas Fun: Simply enjoy working on your canvases in a fun and supportive environment. No registration is required – just drop in and enjoy a delightful time of creativity and community. Afterward, little ones can create a simple seasonal craft to take home. We'll wrap up the morning with a short costume parade around the library—costumes encouraged but not required. Join our Beginning Guided Autobiography group; you'll find prompts to help you write your story, a supportive community of listeners, and discussion and practice of writing techniques. No prior experience is needed! This is a five-part biweekly series running from Saturday, September 20, to Saturday, November 15, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Register here to attend and please aim to attend all five sessions. This series will take place in person at the Foster City Library. Prompts will be sent before each session. No prior writing experience needed. Please bring paper and a writing implement or your preferred method of writing to class.
