Each week, we will explore the magic of stories, songs, and movement in a welcoming space that encourages bonding and fun. This is the perfect place to meet other families, build early learning skills, and make memories with your little one. Baby Bounce is about 20 minutes followed by Stay & Play time. Caregivers are welcome to bring a blanket for their babies to lay on. This program is appropriate for infants and pre-walking babies, ages 0-12 months. AcompaĂąa a la bibliotecaria Sara en la Hora del Cuento con BebĂŠs, especialmente diseĂąada para nuestros pequeĂąos amigos de la biblioteca y sus cuidadores. Cada semana, exploraremos la magia de los cuentos, las canciones y el movimiento en un espacio acogedor que fomenta la uniĂłn y la diversiĂłn. Join us for an unforgettable afternoon with D.M. Rowell, acclaimed author of the Mud Sawpole Mysteries, including the titles Never Name the Dead and Silent Are the Dead. A Silicon Valley professional turned mystery novelist, Rowell brings her unique perspective as a member of the Kiowa Tribe and a lifelong storyteller rooted in Plains Indian oral tradition. In this captivating author talk, Rowell will share her journey from tech executive to mystery writer, and how her heritage and upbringing on the Kiowa, Comanche, and Apache reservation in Oklahoma deeply influence her writing. Sheâll explore themes of identity, culture, and place as reflected in her novels, which follow a protagonist returning to her childhood home to solve chilling mysteries steeped in tribal history. Santa Clara County Library District residents are eligible to register for this in-person ESL class led by a professional ESL instructor. This class session is for beginners. Join us to learn and improve your English listening and speaking skills. Space is limited so registration is recommended.  Classes are Monday and Wednesday evenings 6:30pm - 8:30pm from August 25 through November 19. There will be no class on September 1 or October 13. You should plan to attend the entire class session. This class will take place in-person at the Gilroy Library and is for adults. -------------------------- Los residentes del Distrito de Bibliotecas del Condado de Santa Clara pueden inscribirse en esta clase presencial de inglĂŠs como segundo idioma (ESL) impartida por un instructor profesional.
