The GUSD counseling teams warmly invite you to our upcoming event:  Cafecito with the Counselors       Date: September 23, 2025   Time: 6:00-7:30 PM   Location: Brownell Middle School This event will be held in Spanish. Cafecito with the Counselors is designed to be a welcoming where families can connect with school counselors, share experiences, and receive valuable information, all while enjoying a warm cup of coffee in community. Our goals:   Build Trust - By creating a space that honors the values of family, respect, and community, we aim to foster strong relationships between families and GUSD. Empower Parents  - Learn how to navigate school systems, understand important policies, and gain tools to advocate for your child's education and well-being. Foster Collaboration  - We view families as partners in education, not just recipients of information. Your voice matters, and we want to hear it.
