After School Gaming

Come enjoy some video games! We'll have games for all ages available for you to play together on the Nintendo Switch. Feel free to bring your own controllers. No registration is required. For children and teens.

Library Craft Time

This is a drop-in weekly activity intended for all ages. During this time, youth can join a hands-on program or activity!

Open Sewing

Join us for open time to use the library’s sewing machines. Bring your own project or use some of our supplies to make your own. There will be no formal instruction, but assistance will be provided for the machines if necessary.

Family Storytime

Come along on an imaginary adventure. Hear new stories, sing songs, and learn wiggles that the whole family can enjoy together, from toddlers to grown-ups.

Adults, join us for a fun and active Zumba fitness workshop at the Half Moon Bay Library led by instructor Vicky. Be sure to bring comfortable clothing, comfortable tennis shoes, a small towel, and water to stay hydrated. Please register to participate. Zumba® is a fitness class that fuses Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program. Inspired by Latin dance and music, Zumba® uses a variety of styles in its routines, including cumbia, merengue, salsa, reggaetón, mambo, rumba, flamenco, and hip-hop. The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms are combined with resistance training to tone and sculpt your body. Zumba® is often promoted as a dance party; the type of exercise you’ll want to do every day.

This is a fun and relaxing activity that’s good for mental health and wellness.

Baby Bounce Storytime

Baby storytime centers around parent/caregiver-child interactions. This storytime is developmentally appropriate for newborns and babies up to 18 months old. Please join us for rhymes, lap bounces, singing, instruments and a book or two.
