Join your friends at Hercules Library for music, rhymes, flannel board stories, and book-centered fun every Saturday! For the month of May, we will only have 1 storytime each Saturday, from 10:00am-10:30am in the Children's Library.  Library storytime is a great way to help young children develop their early literacy and social skills while building a lifelong love of learning. Plus, it's a lot fun! Best for children ages 5 and younger with a caregiver, but all ages and abilities are welcome. For special accommodations, please contact the Library with 72 hours notice.

Teen Tech Tutors will help adults with their Computer/Device Questions during 30-min sessions to help you get started, so you can take those skills and continue to explore and learn on your own! Registrants can bring their own portable devices and/or work on a library computer. Wifi is available in the library. Teen Tech Tutors can help you with: -Basic email questions -Basic computer questions -How to access Library-provided e-resources (e.g. Libby and LinkedIn Learning) -Basic formatting and general use of MS Word/Google Docs and Basic functions for MS Excel/Google Sheets Teen Tech Tutors CANNOT help you with: -Any sort of device repair -Installing hardware, software or program updates on your device -Provide word processing services (typing on your behalf, etc.) -Provide private lessons, or accept payment or remuneration of any kind -Recommend products for you to buy (e.g., computers) -Do your online shopping, or place ads for you (e.g., eBay, Craig’s List, Amazon consignment sales, want ads, etc.) Please make an appointment through library website or by phone (510-245-2420).  Due to time constraints, your registration may be cancelled if 10 minutes late.

Their educational and entertaining performance weaves Hawaiian history, culture, language, music and dance together for a truly beautiful experience for all ages. Haopinaka brings the spirit of aloha to the Bay Area and beyond with Hawaiian guitars, ukuleles and sweet vocal harmonies. Haopinaka was formed in 1998 when three friends from different backgrounds came together to share their love of Hawaiian music.
