Join WLF members for a morning hike at The Cross.Meet at the trailhead at 9:30 AM to enjoy the beauty of the desert, great company, and a rewarding climb. This hike is moderately strenuous but offers incredible views and a great way to connect with others while staying active.The Gabby Hayes trail does not have a specific street address, but the trailhead is located at Cahuilla Hills Park, accessed from Edgehill Drive in Palm Desert. To get there, take Highway 74, turn right on Pitahaya Street, and then left on Edgehill Drive, where you can find parking near the tennis courts.  *Get to know this 2.0-mile loop trail near Palm Desert, California. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 57 min to complete. This is a popular trail for hiking, running, and walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. You'll need to leave pups at home — dogs aren't allowed on this trail.
