Our volunteer computer docents are available Thursdays between 10 a.m and 12 p.m. to assist with basic computer skills as well as printing and copying. If you need a little extra help getting your tech questions answered, sign up for a 15-minute appointment and our docents can assist you! Drop in help is available as time allows. Our computer docents can help you with: Contra Costa County Library website Email Sending attachments Microsoft Word Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides etc.) Making copies and printing General computer use Our computer docents will not: Repair devices or make any recommendations about hardware or software Type documents or fill out paperwork Recommend products for purchase Conduct research Accept payment of any kind Call the Martinez Library at 925-646-9900 or visit during open hours to sign up for an appointment. Appointments are 15 minutes and limited to one per person. Drop-in help is available as time allows.

Martinez Library Storytime

Build early literacy skills with stories, songs, finger plays and fun. Stay after for playtime or a simple craft. Content focused on ages 1 to 5, but all ages and abilities welcome. For special accommodation, please contact the library with 72 hours’ notice.

Join us for a fun discussion about Tarot, hosted by Carolina Amor. Bring your cards, a notebook and your passion and curiosity for Tarot and Astrology. Together, we will talk about Tarot, cover different Tarot spreads, do practice readings and cover questions you may have. The purpose of this meeting is to create a Tarot and Astrology community where we can come together and talk about and share our experiences with Tarot and Astrology. Enjoy a nature walk with a Naturalist followed by storytime with a Librarian! This program is part of a special partnership between the Contra Costa County Library, the East Bay Regional Parks, and the John Muir Land Trust. This event will be located at the new Pacheco Marsh- John Muir Land Trust at 2501 Waterfront Rd, Martinez. Please enter this address into your GPS to make sure you arrive at the right entrance to the park.
