The Creative Software Workshop is a time for you to learn to create something new with the multitude of creative software we have available through our libraries. It is also an opportunity to share projects you've been working on, as well as get advice on anything related. In this session, you will learn to explore the basics of Blender. We will be going over 3D scene navigation, object transformation and mesh editing. Basic computer skills required.  18 years and older. Feel free to bring your own laptop and equipment. Gem Painting is taking the crafting world by storm. It’s the perfect mixture of paint-by-numbers and mosaic art, without the paint! Instead, tiny gems make a beautiful pattern and sparkle in the light. Gem Painting is a recurring series that invites creative makers to gather together in the same place at the same time every week. If you are interested in participating, be sure to register for the series, attend the first date, and then drop in on the dates that work for your schedule so you can work on your masterpiece. Participants are not required to attend every session, but we will only accept new participants every month. As this project aims to gather creative makers in the community, each participant's gem painting materials will be labeled and held at the library until the month is complete. Check the schedule below for when we will provide canvases to new participants and when we will only allow pre-existing participants to drop in. December 4 -- 11:00am-12:00pm -- Canvases available for new participants December 11 -- 11:00am-12:00pm -- Drop in for pre-existing participants December 18 -- 11:00am-12:00pm -- Drop in for pre-existing participants No Gem Painting December 25!
