Join the Pittsburg Library for an afternoon of literacy activities and games designed to empower and motivate young learners as they build reading fluency and comprehension. The activities are geared to students who have a solid foundation in letter recognition and letter sounds (kids in grades 1-3). This free literacy program is led by an experienced literacy tutor whose strategies are based on instructional and Science of Reading methods.  This program is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Pittsburg Library.
