This committee in partnership with Pomona’s Promise strives to enhance the Economic Vitality within the City of Pomona. Current projects include the Property Business Improvement District (PBID) along the East Holt Corridor, Business to Business Development Program, and the Business Watch Program in partnership with Pomona Police Development. This committee meets in-person on the 3rd Thursday of each month at the Chamber Office, check website calendar for postponed or rescheduled meetings. Studies, monitors, educates, and advocates on behalf of business concerns on critical local, state, and federal issues. The committee develops the Chamber’s annual legislative priorities, meets with legislators, and collaborates on platforms with other organizations. Members often assist Chamber staff with lobbying efforts as they relate to our Legislative Platform. Committee meets virtually the 3rd Thursday of each month at 3:00pm.
