CHESS CLUB (ALL AGES) No experience is needed!  We have teen volunteers available to help build off of basic skills. Bring your own board, or we have boards and clocks available.

Read! Talk! Sing! Play! Join us for Storytime and enjoy books, songs, fingerplays, movement and fun. Attending Storytime is a wonderful opportunity for young children to develop language, early literacy and social skills. Participants are welcome to stay for a 15-minute play session at the end of the Storytime. This Storytime, for children ages 1-5, will have a little something for everyone! All ages and abilities are welcome. For special accommodations, please contact the Library with 72 hours notice.

Description The Princeton Review offers a free ACT or SAT test prep option. Sign up for a free ACT or SAT practice test to discover your strengths and weaknesses. You may register to take either test, but you may not take both during the same session. You must register to attend, twice. First, register on this site to ensure your seat to this popular program. Next, register with Princeton Review so that you will be able to take the test. Princeton Review Registration Information will be emailed to you as soon as you register on this site. We suggest that you use a Non-school email for your registration so that you will receive the email from CCC with the links. This is a proctored exam. The SAT practice test takes 2.5 hours to complete; the ACT takes 3.5 hours. Please arrive before 1:00pm to the upstairs Program room. Test instruction will begin promptly. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated as they disrupt the proctor and other students. The proctor will guide the students through the portal access. Scores will be available immediately after the test and can be reviewed at home or with an advisor at a later date. No walk-in registrations will be allowed. Students must bring their own Chromebook/device/laptop with full internet access. Devices must be fully charged before entering the room. If your device runs out of battery, we cannot guarantee you will be able to complete the test with the proctor. You may need to finish at home. Please bring: Chromebook/laptop/device (fully charged with internet access) Charging cord (in case your device runs low) Calculator (though an online calculator is available, bring one you're familiar with) Water bottle (refill station available downstairs, near the restrooms) Scratch paper & Pencil (important for the math sections) Due to limited capacity (30 participants), please inform us as soon as possible if you register but find you cannot attend. This will allow us to release your spot to another interested individual.
