Join the San Carlos Library’s fiction book club as we explore world literature one translation at a time. Each month, we will dive into a translated book originally written in a language other than English, with a special focus on works from the 21st century. Our selections will highlight diverse cultures and fresh literary voices from around the globe. To accommodate different schedules, this book club will meet twice a month - on the first Monday of the month at 6 PM and on the first Wednesday of the month at 10:30 AM. Stop by on the day that works for you to join the discussion! For February, we will be reading and discussing Hurricane Season by Fernanda Melchor.
