Personal ConnectionsApril 2 – June 30, 2025With her strong interest in individual character and sensitive observations, artist Joan Bonetti has created this collection of paintings reflecting her connections to people from her past and present. Joan mainly works in oils but over the years has mastered pastels, watercolors, acrylics and mixed media. Joan is a keen observer of people and everyday life and sees her artwork as a record of those observations. Students ages 8-16 will engage in an exciting, hands-on robotics program to help them prepare to take part in First Lego League (FLL) or First Tech Challenge (FTC). The instructors will provide the materials and teach how to design, build, and program (with laptops) robots in this session. Participants are welcome to bring their own laptop/chrome books. There will be an engaging presentation followed by hands-on exercises.
