Learn the basics of 3D printing in this hands-on workshop. Participants will learn the (very) basics of 3D printing, select a design, and can pick up their print at a later date. Participants can choose a design from Thingiverse, or bring their own design from home. Designs from home must be in an .stl file format. All prints must be able to go on a Library USB and claimed when the print is available for pick-up. Designs are considered printable if able to load and save on a Creality K1C, but the program lead has final say. All prints must take less than 1 hr 30 min. All prints are free and must meet the criteria above and below. Space is limited and registration is required. Call or stop by the Vineland Library to register. Please also be aware that: Prints are meant to be for personal use only and not for commercial purposes. No weapons or items that could be construed as a weapon will be accepted for print. Prints that are considered obscene or otherwise inappropriate for the library environment will be not accepted for print. The library’s 3D printers must be used only for lawful purposes. All local, state, and federal laws must be followed. Accepted prints may not violate any third party’s intellectual property, such as copyright, patent, or trademark.
