Month of the Military Child honors the strength, resilience, and sacrifices of military-connected children who face unique challenges such as frequent relocations and separation from family members during deployment. These children navigate constant change with courage and adaptability. This month serves as a reminder to provide support, understanding, and resources to help military children process their experiences, express their emotions, and build resilience in safe and supportive environments. Military families embody strength, resilience, and courage. Santee School District is proud to be home to many military families and we honor the tremendous sacrifices they make.
