Santa Clara County Library District residents are eligible to register for this in-person ESL class led by professional ESL instructors. Join us to learn and improve your English listening and speaking skills. Space is limited. Testing to determine your level is required to register for the class. This class session is for beginner and intermediate ESL students. This session is full. Check back again next August for Fall 2026 classes. Classes are Monday and Wednesday mornings 10am - 12pm from January 5th to March 11th. You must be able to attend the entire class session. This class will take place in person at the Saratoga Library. Attendees must be at least 18 years old.

Did you know that the Bay Area's mild climate supports multiple growing seasons for a diverse number of Asian vegetables? Speaker Emily Maslyn will share with us how to plan for and grow a variety of these nutritious and delicious produce. She will highlight what gardeners can do right now to prepare for a bountiful harvest in late spring and summer. Emily joined the Santa Clara County Master Gardener program in 2013. She was born and raised in Taiwan, and has lived in the Bay Area since the early 90's. Asian Vegetable seeds will be provided courtesy of the Friends of the Library. The seeds are available on a first come, first served basis.
