Please bring any devices you use, and have your necessary passwords and library card with you. Join us on the last Saturday of the month from 10:00 to 11:30 AM to learn the art of 3D designing in a collaborative atmosphere of your peers. Once finished, designs will be printed and available for the designer at the next meeting.This program is intended for teens/preteens, but parents are welcome to join. A limited number of laptops will be available with the necessary software installed, and students are encouraged to bring their own laptops if possible.Light snacks and beverages will be provided.

Come join us in the Fireside Room at the Scotts Valley Library from 1PM-2PM on Saturday, August 30th, to learn some money management fundamentals. Christopher Genetti, a local financial consultant, will be presenting the following Moneywise America course:"Session 2.0 - Manage Your Money"The purpose of this lesson is to introduce participants to elements of money management: understanding a paycheck, knowing where to put money, and grasping the products/institutions that can safely store your money.A video will present the teen characters meeting up after getting paid from their jobs and figuring out how to manage their money. Participants will also learn about financial institutions and products, as well as the most cost effective ways to access their hard earned money.Christopher Genetti, MBA, CFP, CWS, is Vice President Corporate Financial Consultant for Nvidia HQ Corp in Santa Clara CA, and an experienced presenter on financial literacy topics for a variety of audiences.Moneywise America is the financial literacy branch of Charles Schwab aimed at leveling the economic playing field through high-quality financial education for teens, with a focus on reaching youth in under-resourced communities and schools.
