Celebrate the women and girls in your life in this family-friendly event to commemorate the achievements of Title IX, the landmark equality legislation signed by President Nixon in June 1972. Bring your family, friends, sports teams and community groups to the NIXON 5K FOR TITLE IX and run (or walk) this moderate course following Yorba Linda’s El Cajon Trail. Athletes are encouraged to wear their favorite team gear supporting female sports! This is accessible for runners of all levels strollers are welcome and dogs are allowed. Following the race, guests are invited to stop by the vendor fair in the Library parking lot! Race starts at 8:00 AM

Within days of closing the Nixon Library to the public due to COVID-19 in March 2020, the White House East Room, known for its once-active programming and frequent events, became a center for much-needed blood donations. Since then, the Foundation has regularly hosted drives, resulting in thousands of usable blood units and saving many lives. The Richard Nixon Foundation intends to continue these popular and meaningful blood drives as long as the shortage continues. This blood drive is presented in partnership with the American Red Cross.
