All experience levels and ages are welcome. Open Studio Equipment and Software: Sewing machines, Sergers, Dye Sublimation Printers, Heat Press, and design software such as the Adobe Suite and Blender on our laptops and computers. Safety and Use RequirementsAll patrons who visit the makerspaces must adhere to the Makerspace Use Policy. Minors (under 18) must have a parent/adult guardian agree to and sign the Acknowledgement of Risk and Release Form before entering the space. Patrons under the age of fourteen must be supervised by a parent or adult guardian.

Boulder Public Library District offers FREE Conversations in English (CIE) groups for adult English language learners to practice their speaking and listening skills in a friendly and informal environment. This program is for individuals 18 who live, work, or are visiting in Boulder County, Colorado. There is no homework. Just show up and practice your English with others!This group meets in-person at the NoBo Library in the BoulderReads Classroom on Thursdays, 4:15-5:30 p.m. First time participating? Please fill out this online form.*Note* Please try to arrive on time. If no participants arrive by 10 minutes after start time, our volunteer facilitators may choose to end the in-person session early. Join Luna Cultura at the Sewing Revolution. On the fourth Saturday of the month, we will create a beginner-level sewing project. Materials and tools will be provided. Participants can also bring clothing they want to repair, remake, or upcycle.The featured project generally takes 45 minutes to complete. We have limited sewing machines, so participants must share equipment and supplies.Registration is suggested but not required (it helps us calculate materials). Appropriate for ages 10 and up, minors under 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Acompaña a Luna Cultura en la Revolución de la Costura. El cuarto sabado del mes realizaremos un proyecto de costura de nivel principiante. Se proporcionarán materiales y herramientas.
