Have you ever wondered how electricity works? In this workshop, young inventors will build their own circuits using copper tape, LEDs, and batteries. Through hands-on experiments, participants will discover how electricity flows, why polarity matters, and what materials are capable of conducting electricity. This workshop is taught by Ruhan Yang, a PhD student at the ATLAS Institute at CU Boulder and designer of educational toys and tools.This workshop is most appropriate for lower elementary school-aged learners, ages 5-9.If you are an adult caregiver or parent, please register just your child (or children) for the workshop. You do not need to complete a registration form for yourself. Adult caregivers and parents are invited and encouraged to participate alongside children, and at least one adult must be present to accompany their child in the makerspace.Electronics StudioFrom April to June, STUDIO 24 will be dedicated to playful and practical explorations of electronics. Classes and drop-in experiences will cover a variety of topics from the fundamentals of circuits and coding to creative projects that bring technology and art together. Electronics studio experiences will be facilitated by Maker-In-Residence, Ayesha Wilson, alongside Creative Technologists and community educators. Electronics studio is for everyone! Whether you're an experienced tinkerer or you're brand new to electronics, we invite you to create, learn, and explore topics in electronics in a supportive and creative community space.

Join Luna Cultura at the Sewing Revolution. On the fourth Saturday of the month, we will create a beginner-level sewing project. Materials and tools will be provided. Participants can also bring clothing they want to repair, remake, or upcycle.The featured project generally takes 45 minutes to complete. We have limited sewing machines, so participants must share equipment and supplies.Registration is suggested but not required (it helps us calculate materials). Appropriate for ages 10 and up, minors under 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Acompaña a Luna Cultura en la Revolución de la Costura.
