Interested in learning more about night sky photography? On August 20th, Don Riddle will be conducting a free astrophotography workshop at Hovenweep National Monument. It runs from 7:15pm until roughly 10:30pm to 11:00pm.The following equipment is required:• Camera with ISO up to 6400 Available (DSLR or Mirrorless)• Wide angle lens 50mm or less (stock lenses are ok. f stop lower than 3.2 is preferred)• Sturdy Tripod• Remote shutter control (recommended)• Red light headlamp• Warm Clothes• Camp Chair (Recommended)• Extra Memory card• Extra Batteries (if possible)• Thumb Drive• Bug SprayThis is late night shooting, so rest up and bring a snack!
