Are you feeling a bit lost with your gadgets? Need a hand with your smartphone, tablet, or laptop? Join us for Tech Tuesday at the Crawford Library! We can help you troubleshoot, set up new apps, use library resources, or even learn how to access the latest AI tools. No appointment is necessary—just drop by from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and get the help you need! What to Bring: Your fully charged device(s) and associated cords (smartphone, tablet, laptop, etc.) Any relevant passwords or accounts information Specific questions or issues you’re facing Our friendly staff and volunteers will provide one-on-one assistance and guide you through solutions in a relaxed and supportive environment to the best of their ability. Please keep in mind that our staff and volunteers are not tech experts. All ages and skill levels are welcome!

Join us for a special Third Thursday Coffee at Crawford Library with holocaust survivor, Liz Lilien. Born in Germany shortly after Hitler came to power, Liz and her family experienced the transformation of their community almost overnight, from a secure, welcoming home to a place that they needed to escape at risk of death. The journey that brought her family to the United States and ultimately brought Liz to Colorado’s Western Slope is a deeply moving story that we are fortunate to be able to hear in person from Liz Lilien herself. This program is part of the Third Thursday Coffee series sponsored by the Friends of Crawford Library. Coffee and snacks at 10 a.m. the presentation begins at 10:30 a.m. We hope to see you Thursday, November 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  For more information, contact the Crawford Library at 970-399-7783.

Come to the library and get crafty with us! In November we’ll make light-up cards and painted ornaments to help celebrate the fall and winter holidays. All ages are welcome, with children under 6 accompanied by an adult. Drop in any time between noon and 5:30 p.m. Stay ......More

Come to the library and get crafty with us! In November we’ll make light-up cards and painted ornaments to help celebrate the fall and winter holidays. All ages are welcome, with children under 6 accompanied by an adult. Drop in any time between noon and 5:30 p.m. Stay for the fun and camaraderie or pick up supplies while they last and finish the project at home. Library staff and volunteers will provide all the materials and instructions you need to make a light-up card. Small children and anyone wanting to make a simpler decoration are invited to paint wooden cutout ornaments in a variety of themes. This program will be happening at the Crawford Library on Thursday, November 20th and at the Hotchkiss Library on Monday, November 24th.

You are invited to join a craft group at the Crawford Library. Come with your knitting, crocheting, or any creative project you enjoy. Time will be spent socializing and supporting interests. Beginners are welcome and some assistance with knitting and crocheting will be offered. All artistic endeavors are welcome. We meet every second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Drop in at any time that fits your schedule.
