Are you feeling a bit lost with your gadgets? Need a hand with your smartphone, tablet, or laptop? Join us for Tech Tuesday at your Delta Library! Our knowledgeable librarians and volunteers will be on hand to assist you with any device-related questions or issues you may have. Bring your devices and any questions you have, whether it’s about troubleshooting problems, setting up new apps, or learning how to make the most of your technology. No appointment is necessary—just drop by between 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and get the help you need! What to Bring: Your device(s) (smartphone, tablet, laptop, etc.) Any relevant passwords or accounts information Specific questions or issues you’re facing Our friendly staff and volunteers will provide one-on-one assistance and guide you through solutions in a relaxed and supportive environment. The library has computers available for use during the class, so there is no need to bring one or have one at home. Please RSVP due to limited space. Join us if you would like to help us sew quilts for charity. The Basket Case Quilt Guild meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month in the Delta Library Community Room. We sew quilts and blankets for eight different charities, including a range of sizes from receiving blankets up to twin size quilts and fidget blankets. If you’d like to help sew for the charities we support, please bring your sewing machine and other sewing essentials. Don’t know how to sew but still want to help? Join us at the Delta Library for circle time,” with Laura Padgett, where you can share about the first storyteller that you had in your life, and reflect on the experiences, by sharing your own stories. She explains: “I don’t teach people how I teach people why.” After the presentation there will also be writing exercises as well as storytelling exercises. Laura Padgett holds an MA from Regis University in storytelling.  She is the author of two published, nonfiction books “Dolores, Like the River” and the multi-awarded “Jesus in Shorts: Twenty-five Short Stories of Life-Changing Jesus Moments” as well as several pieces in anthologies such as “Chicken Soup for the Soul.”  She writes a monthly blog called, “Livin’ What You’re Given” (found on her website lauralpadgett.com) where she shares stories of inspiration, transformation, and encouragement for others to find/share their gifts no matter what their age or stage. Laura lives in Montrose, CO with her husband, Keith. This event is part of the 2025 Summer Reading Program: Color Our World.
