The Pikes Peak Library District is proud to present the 2026 Manitou Springs Library Lawn Concert Series! Concerts will be on Wednesdays from 6 - 7:30 p.m., starting June 3 and ending July 22.This season's concert series will be held outdoors on the lawn to the north of the Manitou Springs Carnegie Library. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy the music of this summer concert series.This first concert of the series features the music of Roma Ransom:Great music should do three things - connect you to the past, inspire you to envision the future, and find you wholly in the present moment. Roma Ransom does all three. Their repertoire includes old-time traditional ballads like Shady Grove and St. James Infirmary as well as sounds from European cultures, mainly that of Romania (hence the duo's name) yet the music of Roma Ransom is distinctly their own. The sultry sweetness of Grace Easley on vocals paired with the couples' vast instrumental array combine to form a style that can fit the mood for any setting. The couple was trained classically from an early age, Grace on violin/viola, Gordon on guitar.Roma Ransom has spent the last decade performing across the country, touring throughout North America playing over 200 gigs a year in that time. Roma Ransom has played festivals with headliners such as Larry & His Flask, Leftover Salmon and many others. They have also had the honor of playing music for a VIP event at the Pikes Peak Event Center for an ltzhak Perlman performance. They have also had their music featured in films/commercials for Patagonia, Bud Light, Vice, Xtratuf, And She's Dope Too, Huckberry and Yeti as well as having provided music for various independent filmmakers.Find out more about Roma Ransom at romaransom.com.In case of inclement weather, concerts will be cancelled, with announcements on ppld.org.
