Essex Library's children's area has trains, toys, blocks, puzzles, and more for children of all ages to expand their curiosity, and try new things! Come to the library to play and meet new friends!  Stay & Play is a pop-in social time for children and their caregivers. Come for a few minutes, or stay for a couple hours! This is your time to socialize, and make memories with your child. Essex Library programs are free and open to the public. No registration required. Pop in!

Appointments must be scheduled in advance, either by calling 860-388-9508 or downloading a request form. SCORE is also offering information and assistance with the Paycheck Protection Program and SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan program.

Come meet fellow writers to socialize for half an hour, followed by an hour of writing time. No prompts. No critique. Just write! All levels and all genres welcome. This twice-a-month group meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month, 9:00-11:00 am, and is FREE and open to the public.
