About Us
Clothes To Kids of Fairfield County (CTKF) provides gently used and new clothing to kids eligible for the free and reduced price lunch program or in crisis, for free. In a department store setting, those eligible for the program, can shop twice a year, with the assistance of a personal shopper. Kids receive a week's wardrobe each time they shop consisting of : 7 pieces of new underwear, 7 pairs of new socks, 2 new bras, 5 tops, 4 bottoms, and a new pair or gently used shoes. In the fall/winter they can get a winter coat and if available, other winter garments. In the summer, if available, a new bathing suit. In addition, if available, a new backpack at the beginning of the school year.
