Levy Ag teachers  Now that the excitement around our Workforce CAP Grant award has had a moment to settle our next steps are to come together this summer to begin shaping the next steps around Agritechnology in Levy. Middle School teachers and WMHS Ag Department - this means YOU as well.  There is potential for additional funding to foster this initiative across the district in ALL of our ag programs not just HS Agritechnology programs. I know you’re all laser-focused on State Convention prep right now (and cheering you on!) so I’d like to propose Tuesday June 25 as a tentative date for our initial planning meeting.  You will be paid for your time.In addition to your valuable input I’m hoping to include the Workforce Director from CF and the Ag Tech adjunct from CF in this conversation so we can explore innovative ideas and possible collaborations as this CAP grant IS in PARTNERSHIP with CF as they have also received the grant and will be expanding opportunities for our students too.  They shared some REALLY EXCITING news with me last week that I think you will be excited to hear as we embark on this together.This will be PHASE 1 in the planning. After our meeting my next steps will be to begin planning with Maintenance IT etc. to begin getting quotes etc.Please let me know if June 25 works for you or if there' s a better date shortly after Convention week.  I will send a calendar invite now.
