A dynamic lecturer, Rey has inspired students at Florida Gulf Coast University, New College, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. With nearly a decade of teaching drawing, painting, and creativity in Florida, Rey brings a wealth of experience and education to her work. Her background includes extensive undergraduate coursework in drawing, painting, 3-D design, performance art, and art history and graduate courses in film and computer art. She holds an MBA in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, an A.A.S. in Interior Design from Parsons School of Design, an M.A. in Jewish Education from the Jewish Theological Seminary, and a B.A. in Judaic Studies from the University at Albany. Sea SaltOn view in the East GalleryFebruary 6 â February 28, 2026Opening Event February 6, 6 â 9pmWritten, Directed, Shot, Scored by Nastassia Dillon. Starring Lanora Graves. Sea Salt is an experimental film that explores visual language by combining early techniques of storytelling without using digital technology. Shot on film with a super 8 camera, the image has a natural vignette, grain, and rich tones that are uniquely found only on film. Intertitles are used as narration, inspired by the silent film era of the late 1920âs. All editing is done in camera in sequential order. The film score is traditionally composed by the Berimbau, a single stringed African instrument attached to a gourd. Brought to the west via the transatlantic slave trade. All of these elements combined produce a distinct experience for the viewer to appreciate a slower intentional process of film making that is rarely seen today. Nastassia DillonNastassia Dillon was born in Brooklyn New York and is currently based in South Florida. Her parents are from Jamaica and she is heavily influenced by Caribbean culture as well as the urban landscape of the city where she was born.  At the early age of 4 years old, Nastassia picked up a camera and has continued towards a life of art and adventure. After studying at Florida Atlantic University, she received her B.A. in multimedia, her studies focused on film, photography, and studio art. Nastassiaâs films include documentary, narrative, and music videos. Select projects have been exhibited in international film festivals including the Super 8 film festival, Urban film festival, and Flamingo film festival. She has a rich photography portfolio including documentary style, commercial portraits, landscape, and architecture.

Join Artist Michele Del Campo for an engaging 4-week figure drawing workshop designed to enhance your skills and creativity when creating a portrait. Instructor Information:  Michele Del CampoGrew up in San Nicandro Garganico, a small town in southern Italy. Isolated in the countryside, he would spend his time drawing and cycling long distances, when not at school. When he was 18 his family moved to Milan, and after beginning to study Fine Arts, disappointed with the learning, at the age of 20 he began a pilgrimage which led him to live in many places around the world. After studying Illustration in Falmouth (England) and then Dundee (Scotland) he went to Madrid (Spain) where he resumed his studies in Fine Arts and at the same time he began exhibiting in art galleries. In 2006 he won the most prestigeous painting prize in Spain, the âPremio BMWâ, and in 2007 he finished his Master of Fine Arts. In 2008 he moved to London, where he had several solo exhibitions, and in 2016 to Glasgow (Scotland). In this city, where there is hardly any of the sun that he grew up with, and while he was preparing solo exhibitions for international galleries in Lima (PerĂş), Madrid (Spain) or San Francisco (USA), he decided there was no point in struggling to find a good artist studio and commit to spending years in the same place. He stopped accumulating objects, got rid of possessions and began to travel and paint wherever he was, and then take the rolled-up canvases to the galleries with which he collaborated. In 2017 he began to travel with two suitcases and a tube for the canvases, where he captured the inspiration found in each place. In 2023 Del Campo moved to Miami. Del Campo has had solo shows in Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona, London, Milan, Lugano, Lima, San Francisco and Dallas, and has participated in group shows and art fairs in Europe, Asia, the United States and Latin America. In his art, locations remain unidentifiable, as he frequently blends aspects from one city with those of another. Instead, his primary emphasis lies on individuals, their narratives, connections, and emotions, which surpass geographical boundaries and manifest in a more extensive human encounter. He paints people his friends and family, and the people he meets in his travels, and fondly cultivates his circle without borders. His paintings, far from simply seeking to capture a resemblance with his sitters or the reality as it is, strive to construct a narrative. He gets inspiration from the stories of his sitters, to speak about the uprooting, the zest for life, the solitude and the awareness of the ephemeral. In his recent paintings, heâs transcending realism, crafting compositions that embody fragments of a reality formed by diverse moments and places. Weâll begin with the foundations. Learning your camera, exploring key settings, and understanding techniques that apply across different styles of photography. Together, weâll focus on three core areas: portraiture, landscape, and personal projects. Here, you can explore which direction excites you most. In this intensive session, youâll learn the best practices for shooting and how to approach different types of photos. Youâll have guided practice time to apply new skills, experiment, and ask questions as you work. Then, youâll critique the images you captured and identify ways to improve. This format creates space for both individual feedback and group learning. Youâll also have the chance to print a selection of your photos on-site! Other exhibits of her studentsâ work include the Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Center in Belle Glade and the Lighthouse ArtCenter in Tequesta. She has led educational trips with National Geographic Student Expeditions and Putney Student Travel, focusing on photography while collaborating with experts in other fields like biology and science. Andrea is based in Boca Raton, Florida. Her work focuses on issues surrounding identity, migration, memory through the lens of visual storytelling. Her photography journey began in high school seeing her images come to life in darkroom chemicals. She is dedicated to exploring and presenting a myriad of conceptual and material approaches to address and rectify the wide range of injustice experienced by marginalized people. Youâll have the opportunity to photograph with the group, add new images to your portfolio, and receive personalized feedback of your portfolio. Studio Portrait Photography: One-Light Techniqueswith Andrea Sarcos Join Andrea for a hands-on studio photography workshop focused on creating compelling portraits using a single light source. This class guides students step by step through the studio portrait processâfrom setting up a simple studio, to directing a subject, to selecting, critiquing, and printing final images. Inspired by Andreaâs portraiture work created in her Arts Warehouse studio, participants will gain insight into her techniques, creative approach, and studio equipment. Since 2018 she has taught photography classes to students K-12 as a Senior Artist in Residence at the Boys and Girls Club of Palm Beach County, the fifth largest Club organization in the United States. Sharing her knowledge of photography, she sparked interest in hundreds of young kids who have learned how to use digital cameras, tell a story visually, create interesting portraits and intentionally explore their communities. Andrea curates an annual group exhibit of her studentsâ best work of the year to be on display at Florida Atlantic Universityâs Schmidt Gallery. Other exhibits of her studentsâ work include the Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Center in Belle Glade and the Lighthouse ArtCenter in Tequesta. She has led educational trips with National Geographic Student Expeditions and Putney Student Travel, focusing on photography while collaborating with experts in other fields like biology and science. Andrea is based in Boca Raton, Florida. Her work focuses on issues surrounding identity, migration, memory through the lens of visual storytelling. Her photography journey began in high school seeing her images come to life in darkroom chemicals. She received dual bachelors degrees in Journalism and Visual Art Studies from the University of Florida (2015). He received his MFA in painting and printmaking from Yale University and has been a Faculty Fellow of the Honors College at Florida International University since 2004. His work explores history and culture, with an emphasis on the Transatlantic dialogue. His large oil paintings and small mixed media works on paper explore the question of how we are who we are in relation to history, place, and culture. His works have been exhibited at University of Zillman Museum of Art, Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Art, John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art, Texas State University, as well as other venues in the US and France. Bailly was the inaugural Charles Deering McCormick Fellow Artist in Residence in Miami. His residency was documented in the short film âJohn William Bailly: In Situâ by independent filmmaker Jorge Gonzalez-Graupera. He has been awarded the South Florida Cultural Consortium Fellowship for Visual and Media Artists, a State of Florida Individual Artist Grant, and a Miami-Dade County Individual Artist Grant. In 2007, Bailly and critically acclaimed poet Richard Blanco produced a collaborative project, Place of Mind. At FIU, Bailly was Faculty Director of France, Italy, and Spain Study Abroad for 15 years and currently teaches two innovative seminars about the culture and history of Miami. Since 2023, he has been a Beyond the Podium speaker on Celebrity Cruises. He has been awarded two Excellence in Teaching awards and a European Union grant for course development. His work was recently acquired by the Frost Museum of Art, Perez Art Museum of Miami, the University of Miamiâs Lowe Art Museum and the Zillman Art Museum in Maine. What You Will Do: â Learn the ancient art of wax carving, and the process behind lost wax metal casting â Design your ring according to your desired size and style â Utilize precision tools for shaping, carving, filing, texturing, and sanding. â Receive hands-on assistance from our instructor throughout the workshop. Once your wax ring model is complete, we will manage the subsequent stepâcasting it in solid sterling silver using the lost-wax process. Each student will be allotted 15 grams of silver. Heavier peices will require a 15-30 dollar metal surcharge depending on the final weight. Your finished ring will be professionally cleaned and tumble polished, and it will be shipped to you in 3-4 weeks.
