Hi all!  We are excited to announce that the Art Center has started a monthly members youth group for kids 12-17 at the Art Center.  We will be meeting on the 3rd Thursday of every month from 5-7 in the A & E building.  We have planned out social events, classes, arts and crafts, and more.  You will not be required to come to every event, but most of them will ask for an RSVP so we can plan accordingly for snacks or supplies.  This is open to non-theater youth too, so if you know of someone who might not want to be on stage, but would like to join in for the arts, crafts, and photography sides of it, please invite them and give them this email address: marybeth.artcenter@gmail.com   MaryBeth will be facilitating the events, but there will have guest teachers and speakers for the classes. Friday Portrait Group at the Art Center Join the Portrait Group Friday mornings 9:30 am to 12 pm, any skill level—beginner to advanced.  This is a social painting group where you DYOT (do-your-own-thing).  Bring your own tools and materials, there will be fun and great camaraderie—so join us.  All you need to do is be a member ($45 annually beginning Sept. 1 each year) by calling 746-7606 to register for the group or try it out as a guest for one visit and see how much learning and laughing in Art can be.  Group Leader is John Bescher, 352 220 8530, meets every Friday  from 9:30am to 12:00pm.
