Art by the Sea returns on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at the Miami Beach Bandshell! Art by the Sea is a free, family-friendly festival bringing together art, science, and STEAM to celebrate ocean conservation. Youth, families, artists, and scientists unite for a vibrant day of interactive art, hands-on ocean learning, live music, performances, and fun activities. It’s ocean education made joyful, accessible, and inspiring for the next generation of ocean stewards.   What to Expect 🎨 Creative art stations with take-home projects and collaborative installations 🌊 Hands-on ocean science & environmental learning led by local experts 👨‍👩‍👧 Family-centered activities designed for youth of all ages 🎶 Live music, stage performances, and storytelling 🧘‍♀️ Wellness and recreational experiences by the ocean & in the water 🍴 Food and sustainable demonstrations, plus local vendors 🎟 Raffles and giveaways from community partners Art by the Sea is produced by Big Blue & You, a Miami-based ocean conservation nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth through art, science, and media.

Miami EcoAdventures is proud to continue our partnership with Miami Waterkeeper to offer public volunteer kayak clean-up events! Volunteers will hit the water on kayaks to conduct a marine debris clean-up in our coastal and mangrove habitats! This event is free and registration includes a 2-hour kayak clean-up with kayak, paddles, PFDs, water, and a Miami Waterkeeper staff guide. Volunteer Day Main Tasks: Removal of marine debris from the water and surrounding mangrove habitats This volunteer event may require heavy lifting and experience on a kayak, hence teenagers and older groups are recommended. If younger age groups participate, they should be monitored at all times by the designated guardian, parents, etc. *Community Service hours also provided* Important Volunteer Information: Registration is required to participate in this event. Slots are limited and walk-ups will not be allowed. The kayak clean-up lasts 2 hours and is weather dependent and the event will be canceled with at least 24 hours notice if inclement weather is anticipated. We will be launching from Crandon Marina on Key Biscayne. We will have double kayaks so if you are RSVPing solo, please plan to be paired up with another volunteer. If you are finding difficulties RSVPing to this event or would like to participate but have your own craft (kayak or paddleboard), please email [email protected] and she will be happy to assist you!
