Come to the Flux Arts Building at 699 Lowry Ave. NE, Minneapolis, MN on April 11, 2026 from 10 am – 5 pm for the Art Garden Fling.  This vibrant event will showcase music, story telling, art vendors, fun activities, and make ‘n takes. Pollinators are essential to the world’s food and flowers, and their importance reminds us of how we too are better together. In community, we create possibility, joy, and positive change for all. This event is a powerful reminder of how nature and the arts come together to inspire! Start the St. Paul Spring Art Crawl at the historic Schmidt Brewery-turned artist living and creative workspace. Observe over 80 artists, artisans, and makers exhibiting their work throughout the Brewhouse. Check out the paint studio, ceramic studio, Landmark Gallery, Tunnel Gallery, Taproom Gallery, the Atrium, the Clubroom, and the Multipurpose room. Schmidt Resident Artists and local guest Artists will be showing a variety of art from paintings, ceramics, illustrations, jewelry, photography, block prints, glass art, fiber arts, woodworking, and more. There will be food trucks in the courtyard and coffee in the lobby. Make a whole day of it (or the weekend) in the West 7th Arts District of St. Paul. Attendance is FREE * Parking is FREE on nearby streets. Hours are Friday 6-9pm * Saturday 12-7pm * Sunday 12-5pm

The more you talk about your work, the clearer its purpose becomes. Let’s get together and discuss our creative practices and goals. Talking about art with other practicing artists is a supportive and sustaining practice in and of itself. Sharing ideas on inspiration and process feeds your own creativity. We will discuss: creative practice – what does your creative (art-making) practice look like? Do you create regularly, on a schedule? Randomly when inspiration hits? Do you work for long stretches, or a little at a time? What does “studio time” look like for you?artistic goals – Are you working towards any specific goals? Draw everyday? Learning new materials? Finish a series? Preparing for an upcoming exhibition? Have a desire to exhibit? A desire to sell?inspiration – how and where do you find inspiration for your creative practice?process – share about your materials and techniques. Why do you choose the materials you use? How do you take an idea and make art? Or do you make art without an idea first?  Bring a journal, work samples and ideas to share, or feel free to just listen in. Get inspired. 1201 West River Parkway Minneapolis,March 27th to May 6thCommunity Event April 22nd 4:00 to 7:00 Art to Change the World has been invited to show a selection of pieces from our Mystery Trash Remix at the Red Cross regional headquarters in downtown Minneapolis for their Earth Day Celebration. The exhibit will be on view from March 27th to May 6th. You can visit the building during open hours Sundays, Fridays, & Saturdays from 7am to 3:15pm, and Mondays through Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.,with closure on Thursdays. Join us for a fun filled event on Earth Day April 22nd 4:00 to 7:00.ACW will be hosting two make and takes: Magic Wand Making– use found objects to create a wand that can help make the world a better place!
