Evening Sound Bath with Crystal Singing Bowls

Let the soundwaves transport you to a place of relaxation & peace! During this experience Meditation Teacher & singing bowl specialist, Anthony Profeta will use Himalayan Singing bowls, Crystal Singing Bowls, tuning forks, & other vibrational tools to de-stress, restore balance, and bring well-being to your body, mind, & soul. If you are new to a Sound Bath Meditation, it is a very therapeutic form of meditation because as sound waves wash over your body, they move the brain into the more relaxed alpha & theta brainwave states. Sound meditations are wonderful for all types of meditators but are especially good for beginners because the tones & frequencies of the instruments give the mind something to hold onto & help cut through the mental chatter quieting the mind. Bring your mat, favorite blanket and pillow. Please be aware that the gate will be closed at 5:30 and entry to the classroom will be closed at 5:40 to ensure a respectful learning environment for all participants. Event Date & TimeMonday, November 23, 20265:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. LocationAlexander Discovery Center Price$25 members/$40 non-members (includes general admission) Registration required (opens soon) About the Instructor:Anthony Profeta is a former medical student turned internationally-renowned certified meditation teacher, mindfulness expert, & singing bowl specialist. Surround Sound: Immersive Sound Healing Experience

Join us for the ultimate sound healing event! Join meditation teacher & singing bowl specialist Anthony Profeta for a very unique and immersive 90-minute vibrational sound therapy spa session. During this vibrational sound therapy session, Anthony and his partner will create the ultimate environment of well-being. Participants will lay on a yoga mat in the middle of the room and be fully immersed in healing tones and singing bowls’ vibrational frequencies, which will be set up around the room in a North, South, East, & West direction. This configuration creates an energetic frequency grid around the attendees. Additionally, Himalayan singing bowls and other sound healing tools – such as tuning forks, handheld bowls, & chimes – will be played around your body and placed on you, providing an opportunity for a relaxing and rejuvenating “sound massage.” The sounds & frequencies have been shown to help shift your brain waves into the more relaxed states of alpha & theta, move stuck energy out of your body, and leave your physical, mental, and emotional bodies feeling restored, refreshed, and fully aligned. Bring your mat, favorite blanket and pillow.
